Meeting minutes from July, 2008
Pioneer Cavy Fanciers
Minutes taken by Kate Albus.
Old Business:
- Sept. show on the 27th in Rupert
-possible judges: Dana/ Linda / Rosalie with Nancy for BIS, Penny Degleman, or Valerie Jump
- Dana needs sanction
- have a double youth show if Utah would do one
- Super: Marla
- Secretary: Stine
- Raffle: joint with Utah, Utah will run it
- Awards: hodge podge and ornaments
- we are using the separate building if we get the contract
New Business
- November show on the 1st
- Dick motioned and Marla seconded to have it with the bird show at the Canyon County Sheep Barn
- have to check if there would be a fee and if we could have a raffle
-Dana will get judges: Possibly- Jason, Roy, Gail
-Secretary: Dana
-Super: Linda
- Raffle: Marla
-Awards: Dick
-Feb. show- the 28th
- Dana will get the sanction and talk to Karcher Mall
-Secretary: Marla with Debbie or Kate
-Super: Dana
-Royalty: ask Aggie and Nancy to be in charge
-Dick motioned to order new checks. Was approved
-Ribbon Committee: Linda, Kate and Debbie or Megan
-Trailer: look for double axle, 8'x12' would be the biggest, aluminum or stainless steel
-New judging tables and legs- check KW cages (carpet inlaid), investigate
-Send a Thank You to Carrie Kolstad for helping the secretary at Specialty- $25 gift card to Fred Meyer
- October meeting the 14th at Dana's at 7pm.
